Your Role
As a social media manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing Amazon’s social media platforms, developing strategies that resonate with our audience and align with our corporate goals. Your insights will guide our marketing communications, while your creativity will be at the forefront of our digital marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative social media strategies that promote brand awareness and drive engagement in line with Amazon’s mission.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.
- Monitor social media trends, analytics, and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Foster community engagement by responding to customer inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure a cohesive brand voice and message across channels.
- Manage paid social media advertising campaigns to meet specific KPIs while optimizing ad performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers and other brand partners to enhance outreach and engagement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging social media platforms to keep Amazon at the forefront of online engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proven track record of developing successful social media campaigns that drive customer engagement.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a knack for storytelling.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) and ability to interpret metrics.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
